The north east London People’s Platforms (one for outer and one for inner north east London) were established in October 2009 until April 2011. Members include representatives of Local Involvement Networks (LINks) and other interested individuals.
The People’s Platforms contributed to the development of Health for north east London programme by representing the interests of patients and the public in north east London. During the consultation, members reviewed the consultation materials and plans, and held engagement events with the public. The People's Platforms gave evidence to the Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committees and submitted a report on the consultation. Click here to view their reports.

End of life care project
The People's Platforms undertook an end of life care project which examined patient experience of end of life care services in north east London. The People's Platform report describes the experiences of carers, patients and care workers and outlines recommendations for improving services. Click here to read the report.
The People's Platforms jointly held an end of life care event on 27 May 2010 to encourage people to talk openly about their views of dying, death and bereavement.
